GIF metadata explained
The analyzer reads the GIF structure and timing data in your browser. It does not need to render every frame into a full RGBA image, so the result focuses on the metadata you need for troubleshooting, compression, and Face Swap compatibility.

GIF timing is stored as a delay for each frame. Average FPS converts the complete loop into one familiar number, but it can hide intentional pauses or uneven timing.
Loop behavior is separate from duration. A three-second GIF may play once, repeat a fixed number of times, or restart forever depending on its loop extension.

A compatible target must have a valid GIF structure, contain more than one frame, and stay at or below the 20MB Face Swap limit. The analyzer reports these checks separately so a filename alone does not decide compatibility.

Frame count is the number of image frames stored in the GIF. A file with one frame is effectively static, while a file with multiple frames can animate according to its frame delays and loop metadata.
Frame delay is the time a frame stays visible before the next one appears. Uneven delays can make an animation feel jerky even when the frame count is high.
Its loop extension may be missing or set to a finite repeat count. The analyzer reports whether the file plays once, repeats a set number of times, or loops forever.
Not every GIF is ready for Face Swap. It must contain more than one frame and be 20MB or smaller. The analyzer checks those structural requirements, but you should still visually confirm that the target face is clear and unobstructed.
Average FPS is the frame count divided by the total animation duration. Individual frames can still use different delays, so the minimum and maximum delay values provide important context.
