No. GIF files do not contain an audio track, so the converted H.264 MP4 is silent. Add audio later with a video editor if needed.
H.264 MP4 with the browser-compatible yuv420p pixel format does not support alpha transparency. Transparent GIF areas are flattened into a solid background during conversion.

The input GIF can be up to 50MB. Highly complex files with very large dimensions or many frames can still exceed browser memory and processing limits, even when the file itself is within 50MB.
Yes. High quality uses CRF 18, Balanced uses CRF 23, and Smaller file uses CRF 28. Lower CRF keeps more visual detail but generally produces a larger MP4.
Preview the MP4 and check pauses, held frames, and total playback time before downloading. If the source is too long or heavy for the browser, trim, retime, or compress the GIF first.
