Question 1

What is a GIF face swap?

Accepted Answer

A GIF face swap replaces the visible face in a short animated GIF with one uploaded face photo, then returns a downloadable animated result.

Question 2

Can I try a GIF face swap for free without signing up?

Accepted Answer

No. AI generation requires an account. New accounts receive one starter credit for a GIF or photo face swap.

Question 3

Which file types and sizes can I upload?

Accepted Answer

Upload a GIF or animated WebP up to 20MB for the animation. Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP face photo up to 8MB with one clear face.

Question 4

Does GIF Face Swap support multiple faces in one GIF?

Accepted Answer

The current tool is built for single-face GIF swaps. For the cleanest result, use one obvious face in the GIF and one replacement face photo.

Question 5

How does batch GIF face swap work?

Accepted Answer

Batch mode lets signed-in users queue up to 10 GIF or WebP files and apply the same face photo to each one. It is for many GIFs, not many faces inside one GIF.

Question 6

Will free GIF face swap results have a watermark?

Accepted Answer

Free trial exports may include a watermark. Pro plans and paid credit packs are built for watermark-free GIF face swap downloads.

Question 7

How many credits does one GIF face swap use?

Accepted Answer

A single-face GIF swap uses 1 credit. Batch jobs charge 1 credit for each GIF in the queue.

Question 8

How long are GIF face swap results saved?

Accepted Answer

Free results are saved for 6 hours. Pro results are saved for 7 days, so you can reopen and download recent results before the save window ends.

Question 9

How do I get a sharper GIF face swap result?

Accepted Answer

Use a short, bright GIF with one visible face and a sharp portrait photo. Avoid tiny faces, heavy blur, flashing light, sunglasses, and extreme side angles.

Question 10

Why does my swapped GIF flicker or miss frames?

Accepted Answer

Flicker usually comes from fast motion, changing lighting, compression, or a face that turns away between frames. Try a shorter GIF or a clearer face photo.

Question 11

Are my GIF and face photo private?

Accepted Answer

Uploads and results stay private, and download links are temporary. Only upload faces and GIFs you have permission to use.

Question 12

Can I use GIF face swap results commercially?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you own or have rights to the source GIF and have permission to use the face photo. Your usage rights depend on your source material.

Question 13

How do I download my GIF face swap result?

Accepted Answer

After the swap finishes, use the download button on the result page. Save the file before the temporary result window expires.

Question 14

What happens if a GIF face swap fails?

Accepted Answer

If a provider job fails or returns no usable GIF, reserved credits are released so you are not charged for that failed generation.
